2010 marks the 20th anniversary of SuperWalk and it will be Parkinson Society Canada’s biggest fundraiser yet! In 2009, $2.6 million was raised nationally through SuperWalk, helping fund 16 new research programs as well as providing resources for education, advocacy and support services to the over 100,000 Canadians living with this debilitating disease. This year it is our goal to raise $3 million, $900,000 of which is hoped to come from generous supporters in Central and Northern Ontario. The Peel Region SuperWalk is being held on Sunday, September 12th at Erindale Park (Dundas St W & Mississauga Rd), with registration beginning at 9:30 am.
